The imaginary value of privilege.

Privilege is something people often strive for, even if only a little bit, to live better than their neighbors, and with privilege, this is easier to achieve.

But, as often happens, those who benefit most are held accountable, and, as a rule, people only think about this when they are held accountable.

Let's look at wild, or not-so-wild, nature, for example, the kind visible from a window or along the side of the road. Here, too, our gaze can detect something resembling privilege.

Yes, some plants thrive in more favorable conditions, while others are on the brink of extinction.

It seems that only the fallen leaves there are equal.

But no, even here you can see this or that leaf that found itself in certain conditions that could be considered a privilege, lol, it rots not together, but in splendid isolation.

Of course, there are those in nature who don't need privileges; they poke their way through with sharp thorns and spines.

And there are those who understand that there's no point in expecting privileges; you need to survive against all odds, whether in fertile soil or a mixture of rocks.
