A Rainy Monday (13/07/2026)

We begin this week with an heavy rain since in the morning. Every way was flooded with water like last week. I know the week as just begun but I pray the rain should not take the whole week.

Last week was something else. First time in history people falls victim of flood in my state due to rain. People lost their property, homes due to an heavy rain that falls for two days. Thanks to our dear Governor who sympathise with the victims.

Personally I do but I blame some citizens who take gutters that water supposed to have access to pass when it rains to keep as their waste dumped. Doing this is one of the cause why Uyo is now flooded with water anytime it rains.

Today, the rain fell more than 5 hours and the road was flooded. Coming out the road was blocked. I stayed outside for awhile and then my colleague help me to loosen up my hair. When she finished loosen the hair, she made big braid weaving for me.
