From Business Calls to Barber Chairs: A Wild Day

One packed day, too many tasks

Hey Blurt, Hope you guys are doing well!

Today was another crazy day, just like every other day since I joined the business. Honestly, it feels like I haven’t had a single day off. Every day feels like a Monday, even the weekends. Running multiple businesses definitely keeps me on my toes.

So today, I was asleep when I got a call, turns out one of our trucks broke down. It was carrying rice that had to be delivered in two days, and we were already a day and a half in, so there was no time to waste.

I quickly arranged for a mechanic and sent him along with one of my workers to check it out and fix the issue.

Just after that got sorted, I received another call from our grocery store.

A new stock of soaps and biscuits had arrived. I hadn’t even had breakfast yet, but I rushed over. Ended up having breakfast at the office.

Anyway, here's how the soaps look after being displayed on the shelves:

What really frustrated me was the price hike on the soaps. The margins were already tight, and now with the prices going up, it’s becoming harder to manage. That really threw me off today.

The full stock of soaps hasn't been displayed yet, and some packets are still remaining and will be put out soon.

This is how the biscuits look after being displayed:

The soaps look neatly arranged and really good. Anyway, after wrapping up all the work with the transport business and the grocery setup, I had another meeting with a few young entrepreneurs.

This meeting was held to address the ongoing power shortage and to discuss possible solutions.

I run an ice cream business, which relies heavily on electricity.

The frequent power cuts, mainly due to maintenance have really disrupted my operations and affected my business.

We all decided to buy solar panels in bulk so we could get a better price and hopefully solve the electricity problem.

I ended up spending more than 3 hours in the meeting just trying to find someone who could install the panels for cheap. We’re really trying not to spend too much on this whole solar setup, haha!

After I finally found the guy to install the solar panels,

Finally some time for me.

I went straight to the barber, I had an appointment. My hair had gotten so long, it was starting to look like a jungle, haha. I barely had time for a haircut these days, but I managed to squeeze it in today.

This photo was taken in the middle of my haircut, my barber stepped out to take a call, so I snapped a quick pic.

You can probably tell how packed my day is if I barely get time for a haircut. Between studying, running multiple businesses, and attending back-to-back meetings, it’s non-stop.

Sometimes I wonder how people my age are out there enjoying life while I barely get a moment to focus on my own.

I’ve even gained some weight because of all the work, and haven’t really had time to focus on my health lately. It’s been all business, all the time.

After finishing everything for the day, I just headed straight home and crashed. I was completely exhausted, Hahaha.

Conclusion

And finally, thanks to everyone who took the time to read through my jam-packed, busy day, haha!

Appreciate you sticking with me till the end. Have a great day! 😊

Important; I am posting this blog in this account, reason is that I lost my old account.
