A rowan tree. I went for a walk and saw a rowan tree. I often take photos of flowers, trees, and other things when I go for a walk. I enjoy taking photos and sharing them with you. I’m not a professional photographer. But I try to take high-quality photos. Sometimes I take photos with my camera when I bring it along. When I don’t have my camera with me, I take photos with my phone’s camera. Rowan can grow as a shrub or as a tree. Right now, the rowan berries aren’t ripe yet—they’re still green. As the cold weather approaches, they’ll ripen and turn red. They’re frost-resistant. In winter, you can see clusters of red rowan berries covered in snow, or sometimes they’re covered in ice. Rowan berries are a healthy fruit. Rowan berries have a tart flavor. They’re harvested before the first frost; at that time, they become tastier, less tart, and lose their astringency.
