Darth Maul

<center Six years back I nursed at some point a coloured sketch of Darth Maul in my heart for a while now, and for some time I was unable to bring it to life. I did make a pen Sketch of him in late July 2020 though but it didn't quite turn out the way I had planned. Today's sketch however was one I gave my full attention hence the reason for it's slow production. The reference image is from the scene where Darth Maul with his double headed light saber sent by Darth Sidious also Chancellor Palpatine was fighting with Obi wan Kenobi and his master Qui Gon Jin. I spent 6 hours on the sketch then because I wanted to get the right tones and edges and even now when I look at it I think there's something I should add. I guess I've always been this way. That's why whenever I say I'm done with a sketch I don't go back to it, it's the perfectionist my dad created in me that causes this heartache.…

This sketch was made with a MasterArt set of coloured pencils. The following colours were used; • Red, Black, 2 shades of Brown, 3 Shades of ash, and 2, 3, 6 and 10B Bianyo pencils. Do drop by tomorrow for the complete sketch. </center
