Blurt tokenomics
Can anyone tell me what the max supply of Blurt token is? I know, according to Coingecko that Blurt max supply is around 12 million tokens. And that is a very small max supply, less than the 21 million of Bitcoin. This makes it very scarce and more valuable. However, a few whales here on Blurt probably have that much between them, with some owning more than 1 million each.
So that means to me that there are many more than 12 million Blurt tokens in existence. I'm not sure about this 12 million number. Who knows the details. I would like to be informed. Usually Coincecko lists the max supply as well as the current total supply, but not for Blurt, last time I looked. I guess that the max supply is much higher, especially at the rate we are distributing them to daily blog posters.
Where are those extra Blurt tokens coming from that pay the bloggers? Are they being created daily out of this air? Is there a pool, a ninja mine, pre-mine, like Steem?
Tokenomics is the backbone of a project, along with use case, smart contract code and all the rest. If a token has only 12 million total supply at present, then that doesn't make sense to me. The price would be higher. I'm an amateur so may be missing a lot, so please elucidate me on the actual details here.
