"The Season That Changed Me”

Written by Luminomind

There are moments in life that come quietly, but when they leave, you realize they changed everything about you. For me, that season came unexpectedly—no warnings, no signs, just life flipping a page and placing me in a chapter I wasn’t prepared for.

It was a period when nothing seemed to work friendships were shaky, my plans were hanging, and even my confidence felt like it was slipping through my fingers. I remember waking up every day wondering why everything suddenly felt heavy. But now, looking back, I see that it was a transformation disguised as discomfort.

That season taught me many things—things I thought I already knew, but life wanted me to learn again in a deeper, personal way.

I learned that silence is not loneliness; sometimes it is healing. I learned that being alone doesn’t mean being abandoned; sometimes it means being redirected. I learned that some things break so you can rebuild them stronger. In the quiet moments, I discovered parts of myself I had ignored for years. I got clearer about my goals, about the people I needed to keep close, and the habits I needed to drop. It was in that difficult season that Luminomind finally understood what growth really looks like messy, uncomfortable, but necessary.

The funny thing is, I didn’t even know I was changing. I only realized it when situations that used to bother me no longer had power over me. When people expected the old version of me and got someone more grounded, more intentional, more focused.

Would I want to go through that season again? No.But am I grateful it happened? Absolutely. Sometimes, the seasons we fear the most are the ones that shape us into the person we are meant to be. We don’t get to choose when they come, but we get to choose who we become after them.

And today, I can confidently say that the season that almost broke me actually built me.

A big thanks to @jahchebem for directing me here. Indeed am glad to be here🙏🙏🤸✍️✍️.
