Has the new Dogecoin killer arrived?

At the beginning of this month, a new memecoin called “Pusheen” appeared, presented as the supposed <a href=" “Dogecoin killer”</a . The project was launched in February 2026 on the BNB Smart Chain and began to be promoted months later in various forums and communities. However, the post that announced the token came from an account <a href=" only one message</a and no subsequent interaction, raising doubts about whether it is a direct promotion of the project.

Like other memecoins, Pusheen seeks to attract attention by appealing to the community and speculation. Dogecoin also started as a joke and eventually managed to establish itself, although numerous projects have tried unsuccessfully to steal its thunder.

One of the best-known cases was Shiba Inu, whose price plummeted after its initial boom. Pusheen shows some activity and consistent purchases, which lends “some” credibility to the project, but its value remains extremely low: around $0.00000000063 USD per token, far from the current price of Dogecoin.

Furthermore, there doesn't appear to be an official website for the project, which is crucial for building trust and transparency among potential investors. They are entirely dependent on price aggregators like CoinGecko and similar sites to verify its price and performance.

I'm not saying it's a scam project, but the possibility of it actually displacing Dogecoin seems very remote.
