When a Platform Becomes a Question, and Freedom Becomes the Answer

I’m writing it as an experience. Maybe many of you have gone through this. Maybe some of you are still going through it. I spent a good amount of time on Hive. I wrote posts, left comments, interacted with people, shared my thoughts honestly. But at some point, things started to change. I began receiving messages — sometimes in comments, sometimes in private. “You need to do identity verification.” “There are doubts about your account.” “This account looks suspicious.” And it didn’t stop at messages. I started getting downvoted. Again and again. Most of the time, no clear reason. No proper explanation. Just silent punishment. I had similar experiences on Steemit as well.
