Why people slowly stop using Blurt? Just my thoughts (Discussion)

Source:

Hello @everyone Assalamualaikum greetings to all from @theindicators Trust all are goods and I'm also good. Today I want to discuss about a issue in my mind. When someone joins Blurt, start is usually very simple but exciting. First post feels special. Even small reward feels big. Checking wallet again and again. Reading random posts. Commenting here and there.

At that time nobody thinks about long-term. Everyone is just enjoying the moment.

But after some time, things change.

Posting starts feeling heavy. You think, “What should I write today?” Sometimes you open Blurt, scroll a bit, then close it without posting anything.

I think this happens with many of us, not only new users.

One thing is expectation vs reality. In start, we imagine good rewards, good support, growth. But when weeks pass and nothing big happens, heart goes down. You don’t quit suddenly, you just stop caring slowly.

Another thing is silence. You write something honestly, maybe about your day, your thoughts, your struggle. Then no comments. No discussion. It feels like talking to a wall. After some time, you ask yourself, “Why am I writing?”

Life also plays its role. Some days you are tired. Some days mind is full. Some days you just don’t feel like typing anything. And that’s normal. But slowly these days become weeks.

Language fear is real too. Many people here are not English experts. They think others will judge them. They compare themselves with long, fancy posts. This comparison kills confidence.

And sometimes, honestly, Blurt just feels quiet. Not dead, but quiet. Less noise, less push. For some people this calm is good, for others it feels lonely.

What can help? No big solutions, just simple thoughts

First thing: more human interaction. Not about upvotes only. Just talk. Ask something. React. Even one line comment matters. It reminds the writer that someone is on the other side.

Second thing: stop forcing daily posts. Blurt should not feel like duty. Write when you have something real. Skip days without guilt. This is not a race.

Maybe Blurt doesn’t need thousands of posts every day. Maybe it just needs fewer people who actually want to stay.
