The Rise and Fall of SteemIt/HIVE

I summarized my last eight years experience on SteemIt/HIVE.

I joined steemit because I was hoping that it would become a catalyst for health care reform. Instead the platform proved to be an oligarchy of whales where it is impossible to discuss substantive topics.

I mentioned that blurt is a better platform.

Unfortunately, blurt has become dominated by flatearth spam.

It does not matter how good my articles on Blurt are because no-one will ever see it through the thousands of posts dropped by the flatearth clowns.

While writing the article I realized how much I wanted to discuss substantive topics.

So, while I do not like X, X is a better place for discussing actual issues.

I decided to reuse my death-spiral image for the topic.
