My Attempt to Revive my Twitter Account
Well, it finally happened. I got thrown into the downvote penalty box by a HIVE whale. It appears that my transgression was that I created a HIVE-Engine token.
The whales didn't even let me explain the purpose of the token. They simply started downvoting me.
These downvotes don't just hurt me. They hurt anyone foolish to upvote my content.
I've been trying to figure out what do to next. I will probably start a youtube channel. I also want to revive all of my old web sites. Unfortunately, I need a funding source to do that.
Yesterday, I decided to revive my twitter account. It appears that someone changed the name of twitter to x.
I paid the subscription fee for the premium account. I understand that I will get that money back if my account receives 5,000,000 impressions over a three month period. That is 55,000 a day.
I will focus on that for the time being.
Oh my. Twitter changed its name to X. That was stupid.
X seems to be suffering from Tiktok envy. It appears that the platform is discouraging traditional tweets in favor of short form videos.
When I checked my followers yesterday, I was hit by a barrage of AI images with people holding signs asking stupid questions.
I guess everyone on the platform is desperate for images impressions. It is easy to create AI images of things holding signs.
So, I decided to create an AI-Image with a robot asking a stupid question. I will put images i create for twitter in this Night Cafe collection.
The ai image has the wrong number of fingers and the question has a misspelling.
I love it.
X and tiktok show a distorted view of reality.
Of course I am guilt of using AI images.
I've been using AI images on blurt because one needs an image for each post. I usually write a post. If I have a photograph; I use that. If not; I generate an AI image.
I am not sure what I will do with twitter yet. That said, I've noticed a building backlash against ai slop on steemit and hive. I suspect that twitter is suffering a similar backlash ... i try to only use images that are obviously generated.
Personally, I would prefer to write traditional short form tweets. I wonder if there is still room on X for traditional short form tweets. It is possible that I will have to focus articles.
