I loaded Gemini AI this morning. It tempted me to generate "a picture of me in in a snow globe." I don't want a picture of me. I thought it would be interesting if gemini created a self portrait of itself in a snowglobe.

It spewed forth a garbage picture of van gogh self portrait. I emphasized that I wanted Gemini to draw a self portrait and it produced the image at the bottom of this article.

I then decided to ask other AIs to produce self portraits.

Night Cafe The portrait at the top came from Night Cafe. It shows swirls of code forming into a human face.

ChatGPT

ChatGPT kicked back at the command to create a self portrait. I finally coaxed it into a producing a picture with a cartoon robot painting a cartoon robot.

Grok Self Portrait

I don't think that grok understood the assignment. I wanted grok to show me it self image. It kept creating photo realistic selfies.

Gemini Self Portrait

Gemini has a much clearer idea about its self image. It shows the twin constellation with the earth at its heart and slapped the label "Gemini self portrait" on the image so that we would all know that this was Gemini speaking.

The final picture shows Gemini in a snow globe.
